Three Main Charactetistics of Prayer:
- Prayer is an always conversation.
- Even when we talk to God throughout the day, don’t forfiet quality time set aside for God.
- God is always here to listen to you.

- Prayer is an aligned conversation.
- Like a chiropracter, our prayers align our lives back with the Holy Spirit.

- Characteristics of Prayer in the Spirit
- Prompted by the Spirit
- Your ideas to stop and pray is the Holy Spirit drawing you to Christ.
- Empowered by the Spirit
- Led by the Spirit
- The Holy Spirit leads us to pray in certian ways, for certian things, for certain people, at certain times.
- There is no one size fits all way to pray.
- Aligned with the Spirit

- God uses prayer to align our hearts.
- Prayer is an aimed conversation.
- If we want specific results from our prayers, we need to be specific in our requests.

- Three Aims for Prayer
- Aim for the blessing of other believers.
- “I am an intercessor. It is my calling to pray for other people.”
- Ephesians 6:18 “for all the saints”
- Christians aren’t exempt from the hardships of life. Let’s pray for the strength of each other. We need comfort, healing, faith.
- Aim for the new birth of unbelievers.
- Prayer for more people to be saved.

- “soften their heart for you”, “open the doors of their hearts”
- Do you have an unsaved person for which you’re praying for? How consistently are you praying for them?
- Do you have a top ten list of unbelievers for you?
- Aim for the battle

- We are not only to pray for things, we are to pray against things.
- Throughout history, whenever socialism is embraced, God is displaced from society
- Rather than the voting box, the power is found in the prayer box.
