1 Corinthians 15:1-3
- the context of the Gospel in the resurrection
- Christ is at the center of the resurrection
- The church has the responsibility of sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus cannot be separated from the Word. The Gospel permeates throughout the whole Bible.
- Components of the Gospel
- The context of the Gospel is the scripture
- The explanation of the gospel accomplishes is the scripture
- Our faith rests on the integrity of the scripture
- 1 Corinthians 15:3 "according to the scripture"
- The commentary on the New Testament use of the Old Testament *check it out sometime! Demonstrates the indivisible link between the two.
- Jesus's resurrection is meaningless without first understanding the first three chapters of Genesis. Jesus came to save us from the sin, which began in Genesis 3.
- Otherwise, to which can we attribute the existence of evil?
- Doctrine of separation: Genesis 3:7 NASB, Genesis 3:21 NASB,
- Genesis 22:8 NASB what God requires from us, we cannot provide ourselves, so God will provide for us.

- John 1:29 NKJV without the Old Testament, the meaning of this is lost
