-
How Moses Got Ahead of God (the same way we do)
-
He focused on an event rather than the big picture.
-
The one Egyptian life vs all
-
Moses lost everything in Egypt because he didn’t stop and ask God for the wisest decision.
-
He followed his own reasoning rather than listening to God.
-
There’s no decision God will force us to make on our own. Are we willing to ask Him what we are to do, when we are to do it, and how we are to do so?
-
-
He acted on impulse rather than asking what God would have him do.
-
Are you prone to acting on impulse? Selfishness, bias, lack of knowledge for the big picture.
-
Do you make decisions that break relationships?
-
He acted on his own strength rather than God’s strength.
-
How big is your God? Is your God big enough to do all things?
-
I know He can do it, but what?
-
He acted in anger.
-
There are many people who are burning in anger and don’t know it.
-
They act as if they are fine, until something triggers and ignites the anger, and blows them up.
-
He failed to consider the consequences.
-
One Egyption cost him everything.
-
-
What Happens When We Stay In Step With God
-
As you look at your life, would you say with the best you know that you are walking in step with God? Are you in agreement with God’s Will for your life?
-
God will provide everything we need.
-
His riches and provisions are inexhaustible.
-
God will give us specific directions.
-
When we ask for direction from God, He will show us what we are to do.
-
Any question you have in life, the answer is in the Word.
-
You won’t get your answers by just praying--you need to seek God’s Word. Open the Word and ask God to speak to your heart. Use the index to help jumpstart what you're looking for.
-
There isn’t a single instance in life where we wouldn’t need God.
-
God will remove fear in our life.
-
We will all face something that will make us fearful.
-
We will all face a situation where we cannot see the consequence or result.
-
The Word of God is a light unto our path. We cannot make decisions on prayer alone--we must see what the Word of God says.
-
We will experience God’s power in our life.
-
We will see God’s power at work in unusual ways.
-
If God isn’t answering the petition.
-
He knows you’re not ready for the answer.
-
He knows the time isn’t right.
-
He is having you wait until the time is right.
-
We will learn God’s ways.
-
People say the Bible contradicts itself, yet the truth of the matter is that the Bible contradicts the way they live.
-
God will use your weaknesses and frailties
-
How do we respond to His love? Obedience.
Obey God and leave all the consequences to Him.
God can accomplish more in a brief period of time than we can in a lifetime.
If Dr. Stanley came to your house and asked to see your Bible, would you know exactly where it is? Would the pages be sparkling clean, or marked to the brim with notes?
A Godly person has a dirty Bible.
