    1. The appearance of success is not always success.

      2. What good is it to have wealth and fame if you don’t have the ability to enjoy it?
  2. Jesus did not worry about life.
    1. Worldly concerns did not concern Him. He didn’t worry about His life, so don’t worry about yours.
      1. Matthew 8:25 NKJV
    2. Don’t worry because:
      1. We have an awesome source.
        1. Matthew 6:30 NKJV

        1. In light of what Jesus knows, Fight the ticking clock.
          1. Jesus was never in a hurry. He knew there was a time when God had planned for him to do His Will.
          2. Matthew 4:8-9 NKJV -- temptation for the shortcut to the reward
          3. If God hasn’t allowed you to have something yet, He knows you aren’t ready for it. There are no shortcuts.

        2. Do not compare myself to others who are more established or more successful.
          1. Career-wise, or family wise, or marriage. You ain’t them.
          2. God is in charge of what’s considered established or successful in your life.
        3. Do not be overwhelmed by the flood of information.
          1. Information overload leads to anxiety. Satan knows what information to flood you with to cause anxiety.
        4. Be who I am.
          1. God’s plan is for you, not for anyone else. God has a different plan for other people so we can’t compare ourselves with them.
        5. Trust who God is.
      2. Does this fix everything? No, we relapse. We’re all in recovery mode.
        1. One step plan: Seek Ye First.
