Title: Looking Deeper into God’s Will
Base Verse: Psalm 103:19

Perhaps your parents had an idea for your life and you followed it, but now you aren’t very satisfied with how things
turned out. This may be because you haven’t lived the life God planned for you just yet.
God is in control and He always will be.

Three Parts of God’s Will
  1. God’s Predestined Will: Those things He will do. Irresistible, unchangeable, unconditional.
    1. God knows every part of your life.
  2. God’s Moral Will: Applies to everyone: the Ten Commandments. 1 Thessalonians 4:3
    1. We live in a society where we have put down the Bible, put down God’s Moral Will, violating the Ten Commandments, in exchange to listening to our peers, to those in media, listening to
  3. God’s Desired Will: Those things He desires for us, salvation, baptism, vocation, walk in His will and so on.

If you want the truth of God, and to live His Will, you have to know the Word of God. How much of your down time do you spend with God? When was the last time you asked the One who knows all what to do in your day to day circumstances?

  1. God’s Intentional Will
    1. What did He have in mind for your life before you were even born? For your education, talents, etc?
    2. When you thought about your life plans and goals, did you ask God what He wanted to do with your life?
    3. Lord, I want my life to count. I don’t want to waste it. Please show me what you want me to do in my life.
  2. God’s Circumstantial Will
    1. When we live our own life without asking God first. It’s alright, but not His absolute best.
    2. If you look back on your life, what is there you would want to change?
    3. Why do you think you could go so far without thinking about God?
    4. What would you want to change in your life today? Would what you just thought of violate the Word of God? Have you asked God what you should change in your life?
    5. Are you willing to yield yourself the sovereign God?
    6. God, in the time I have left in my life, what do you want me to do to live my life for you?

If you could change one thing in your life today, what would it be? Are you willing to give this to God so that He can bring about His Circumstantial Will? It’s never too late until you’re dead. As long as you’re willing to give yourself to God, He will work in your life. He will show you what to do.

Do you have the courage to say: God, I know you have a will for my life, and I need do change some things, so Lord, what's the next step in my life?
