Knitted Mug Cozies!

Alright, I confess. I don't do things in a timely manner. Not unless God is on me about it. So, I've put off making a birthday present for a friend for quite some time now. I promised I'd give her something hand-made, since we've practically started the knitting/craft circle at work. She told me she'd prefer for me to focus on my school work first and then make the present when I had time. I did just that. Turns out her birthday was way back in January, but I finally got around to making her present. It'll only be 4 months late! Better late than never, right?

Since my friend is way more advanced in knitting and crochet skills than I am, I wanted to make her something simple yet practical. Then I stumbled upon these super cute cozies! It looked totally doable, so I've had this project planned for a while now.

Liana's patience and highly detailed instructions really helped make this project easier than it looks.

I was a bit confused with the purling and knitting at first, since I never properly learned which is which, but once I understood the pattern, this project really is a breeze to make!

It turned out great, don't ya think? If you try this project too, let me know how it goes! :)
